The Ocean Fellowship Platform is awarding scholarships to 1000's of students from regular state and central boards, including CBSE, UP board etc. These scholarships are available to students from every grade in each board who have a passion for innovating within their classroom environment.

May I request someone to apply on my behalf?

Yes, we thoroughly review and consider applications from individual students. Anyone can apply on behalf of a student by providing the following details: the student’s full name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, country of residence, board name, roll number, mobile number, and email address. Alternatively, applicants can also apply with the minimum required details, which include the student’s full name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.

Is it necessary for me to discontinue my current academic pursuits in order to accept the fellowship?

No, there are no restrictions regarding whether you are currently pursuing further studies or have other job commitments.

Am I eligible to apply for the fellowship if I have not yet received my school board roll number or admit card?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Yes, you can still apply for the fellowship. However, if you are selected, it is mandatory to submit your board roll number or admit card 24 hours prior to the announcement of the results.

Is it a requirement to include a pitch deck as part of the application process?

No, you can apply by providing the minimum required details, which include 1. NAME, 2. FATHER’S NAME, 3. MOTHER’S NAME, 4. DATE OF BIRTH, 5. BOARD NAME, 6.STATE, 7. COUNTRY, 8.MOBILE, 9. EMAIL . A pitch deck is not necessary for the application.

How many fellows are typically selected for this program?

A minimum of 100 fellows are selected for this program, with ₹10,00,000 awarded to each fellow. The selection is conducted separately for 10th class and 12th class students from central/state boards.

Is there a specific application deadline for the fellowship?

Is it necessary to provide my board admit card/details, or are the minimum details sufficient for the application?

You are not required to submit your class board admit card or board admit roll number for the application process. The minimum required details, as mentioned earlier, include the following:
1. Name,2. Father’s name,3. Mother’s name,4. Date of birth,5. Board name,6. State,7. Country,8. Mobile number,9. Email address                                               These details are sufficient for the application.

If I am awarded the fellowship, will I be required to relocate from my current place of residence?

The Ocean Fellowship Platform is a nationwide program available throughout India. Therefore, there is no requirement for fellows to relocate themselves as the program accommodates participants from various locations within the country.

Does the fellowship exclusively target students from the 1st class To 12th class only ?

The Ocean Fellowship Platform offers fellowships to students from various central/state board classes in India, including CBSE, UP board, MP board, Punjab board, and other state boards. This fellowship opportunity is open to students in grades 1 to 12. To be considered for the fellowship, students must complete the registration process on “The Ocean Fellowship Platform”. The amount of the fellowship awarded is determined based on the students’ percentage achieved in their respective board classes and the top 100 entrepreneurial ideas submitted by the students or their parents on their behalf. In each class, the fellowship is granted to the top 100 students who have successfully registered on the platform.

Is there a specific age limit to apply for the fellowship?

The Ocean Fellowship Platform welcomes applications from individuals who are currently enrolled in any class and whose results have not yet been declared. Additionally, applicants can also apply on behalf of a student, whether it is their parents, siblings, or any other representative. Eligibility extends to those who submit their applications up to two hours before the official announcement of their results. The fellowship opportunity has no age limit, ensuring that individuals of all age groups can participate and pursue this opportunity.
